Industrial heritage buildings are cultural buildings that carry the social, cultural, historical and architectural characteristics of their period to the present day and should be preserved. Buildings such as the Alsancak Tekel Factory, which used to operate in the industrial field and serve as a production facility, have lost their original function by losing their use value over time and have become idle. These settlements symbolize the periods of the past and carry a historical meaning. It is important in terms of sustainability that industrial heritage buildings are preserved and put into use by both functionalizing them and transforming them into areas that different users can visit. It is necessary to restore industrial heritage buildings with appropriate interventions and functions, taking into account their cultural values and spatial potentials, and to transfer them to new generations within the discipline of conservation. This article aims to examine the process of re-functionalization of an old factory from the perspective of preserving the architectural heritage value of industrial buildings and its contribution to urban life through the example of ?zmir Culture and Art Factory. The transformation of Alsancak Tekel Factory, which was used as a production facility in the past, into a culture and arts center is examined in detail by addressing issues such as the history of the factory, its location, restoration process and new functions added. The positive effects of the building on the city life and the values it has brought to the city life are discussed in detail with the improvement, consolidation and strengthening applications brought to the factory. As a result of this process, the effects of the building on people are evaluated by considering the contributions of new areas such as museums, libraries, art workshops and recreation areas and contemporary-artistic activities to the economic, cultural and social dimensions of people.

The present study evaluated the efficiency of two feeding techniques (broadcast feeding and mechanical feeding) during the fattening of whiteleg shrimp Litopennaeus vannamei in a semi-intensive system. Six growing ponds pertaining to the Practica Veracruzana aquaculture production unit were used to test each technique. Two stocking densities (32 and 35 organisms per square meter) were used for each treatment in each pond, which measured one hectare in area. The production parameters used as a reference during the present study were weekly shrimp growth, survival rate, and feed conversion ratio (FCR). The same type of feed was used for both treatments throughout the experiment, with only the feeding technique changed. The non-parametric Kruskal-Wallis test (?:0.05) was used to analyze the growth and FCR results, while a one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to analyze the survival results obtained. Both analyses revealed no statistically significant differences between the treatments in terms of weekly growth (P= 0.89), FCR (P=0.11), or the percentage of survival (P= 0.88). On the other hand, the financial analysis conducted found that broadcast feeding generates greater financial benefits throughout the lifetime of the culture, with cost-benefit analysis showing that, for every peso spent, the broadcast feeding technique obtained 0.22 pesos more in profit than the mechanical feeding technique.

Aberrant methylation patterns are seen for the 5´CpG3´ dinucleotides in various genes causing cancers. These dinucleotides play a regulatory role showing abnormal expression profiles for the genome of a neoplastic cell, and thus, for cancers. Determining the amount of these specific dinucleotides in genes can reveal a statistical approach to classify the genes in silico with relation to their functions, thereby saving time and money for basic molecular biology techniques in initial screening of a nucleotide sequence. This study offers a strategy to annotate characteristics to new nucleotide sequences having the basic properties of a gene. We have found that the percentages of the 5´CpG3´ dinucleotides vary among the groups of genes; and distribution of these dinucleotides are not random. The correlation coefficient values are found for each of the category of genes; they follow varying patterns in different regions of the genes and in different categories. These justifies the actual percentages of CpGs and offer a formula to be proposed for the in silico classification of genes. Our data have shown that the presence of CpG dinucleotides is justified by, and matches with, the basic biological function annotated to each group of genes. The results can be extrapolated to other categories of genes with varied biological functions known for them, and, to offer a range the CpG coefficients for each category of the genes. This refinement will pave the formation of an appropriate algorithm for the in silico classification of the available nucleotide sequences with basic characteristics of a gene.

During a prefabricated construction, transporting prefabricated components from various suppliers to the construction site is necessary. This study examines a method for minimizing the transportation cost of prefabricated components based on maximizing the completion of the transportation of prefabricated components. This article first provides some definitions and propositions for collocation and replacement relationships among prefabricated components, construction units, building units, and transportation vehicles. Subsequently, integer programming is used to achieve the maximum value of the transport completion of prefabricated components. Integer programming is used to minimize the transportation costs of prefabricated components. Furthermore, simulation experiments show that the decomposition of the prefabricated vehicle allocation problem into several sub-problems significantly reduces time complexity. Thus, by considering substitution and collocation relationships, the transportation costs of prefabricated components can be minimized while maximizing the completion rate of the transportation of prefabricated components.

Cu/Ti dissimilar metals are joined with each other using a Zinc inter-layer and ultra-sonic spot-welding process. A 3-D model for finite element analysis is established to simulate temperature field of the interface of Cu/Ti ultrasonic welding joint under different welding energies. The interface forming, mechanical, and Cu/Zn/Ti properties of spot-welded ultrasonic joints are also systematically studies. Outcomes shows that the temperature distribution of the Cu/Zn/Ti interface ultrasonic welding joint was inhomogeneous, and the temperature of the interface below the indentation reached the highest and decreased gradually to the surrounding. With an increasing welding energy, maximum temperature and corresponding high-temperature region of Cu/Zn/Ti joint interface gradually increased. The interface of Cu/Zn/Ti ultrasonic welding joint was well formed, and the thickness was different, and the local position had wavy undulation morphology. When the welding energy was low, the interface microstructure is composed mainly of copper and titanium solid solution. With an increasing energy of welding, the microstructure of joint interface was composed of Cu-Zn compound, copper solid solution and titanium solid solution. With higher welding energy up to 2000J, a joint microstructure interface is composed of compound-Cu-Zn, Zn15Ti and copper solid solution. In comparison, Cu/Ti welded joints with interlayer of Zn in-between for the maximal shearing force of nearly 33.5%higher than the joints without using a Zn interlayer.

The KPLS method was used widely in the fault detection processes related to the quality as it is able to acquire the features of the object under investigation in the detection process. However, this method has high computational requirements and storage costs. In order to address these problems, the present research details a method of detecting fault based on its quality, named Approximate Kernel Partial Least Squares (AKPLS) applying the Truncated Singular Value Decomposition (TSVD) as the base method has been proposed. In this method, the process variables are mapped onto the feature space via AKPLS.A linear PLS is then performed on the basis of the TSVD in a feature space, owing to which this proposed AKPLS method could be scaled to approximate the kernel matrix with limited memory storage. Therefore, the proposed AKPLS method can be used for handling real-time quality-related fault detection and large-scale quality-related detection. The statistics of RMSE and determination coefficients R2 have been constructed so as to monitor fault detections related to the quality. The level of effectiveness of the framework presented in this study is presented with the help of an example.

Under the background of the rapid development of network economy, it is of great significance to study the trust of mobile commerce users. This paper studies the repair problem of mobile commerce user trust from a unique perspective. Based on relevant theories, this paper puts forward a model of influencing factors of trust repair of mobile commerce users, and analyzes the influencing factors of trust repair of mobile commerce users. The results show that trust disposition, customer expectation and perceived fairness all have an impact on the trust restoration effect of mobile commerce users. Interaction perceived justice is the most important factor affecting the trust repair of mobile commerce users, but the effect of customer expectation is negative. In addition, informational repair, emotional repair and substantive repair will affect the trust repair effect of mobile commerce users by influencing customers\' perception of fairness in different ways. Therefore, mobile merchants should strictly treat the factors that affect the trust repair of mobile commerce users, adopt appropriate repair strategies to maintain the reputation of merchants, improve the continuous trust of users, establish a cooperative and mutually beneficial relationship, enhance the trust between them, and prevent the trust from being eroded so as to prevent the loss of users.

In the current research of bucket position control system of potato excavator, the filter processing of hydraulic cylinder sensor signal is insufficient, which affects the accuracy of the control system. Therefore, the design of bucket position control system of potato excavator based on improved PSO is proposed. Firstly, the boom of the control object is modeled and the control parameters are determined. Secondly, Kalman method is used to filter the correlation signal. The improved PSO algorithm is used to calculate the bucket attitude control parameters and realize the bucket space trajectory position control. To verify the efficiency of the designed control system, the experiment is designed. The data of a certain type of potato excavator is used for simulation experiment, and the bucket position is controlled by the design system and the control systems in the literature. The exploratory findings show that the control accuracy of the designed system is higher, and the influence of external interference force on the system is smaller, so the designed method is feasible.

For solving the problems of poor landscape design effect, low precision of plant configuration, and short time-consuming landscape design in the existing landscape plan and designing system, a landscape plant landscape system that works on virtual reality is designed. Firstly, the overall architecture of plan and designing system for a landscape working on virtual reality is designed. It mainly includes the data collection module of landscape plants, the landscape design module of landscape plants, and the virtual landscape design module of landscape plants. In the data acquisition module of garden plant landscape, the data acquisition is carried out with the help of a data collector, and the acquisition circuit is designed. The obtained garden plant landscape data is extracted by SIFT feature, and the design of the data acquisition module of garden plant landscape is completed. In the landscape design module of landscape plants, the landscape images of landscape plants are collected according to the real landscape, and the images are rendered. According to the three-dimensional model of landscape plants, the landscape design of landscape plants is designed. In the virtual landscape design module of garden plant landscape, the virtual platform of garden plant landscape planning is designed with the help of virtual reality technology, and the virtual effect is enhanced by an augmented reality algorithm. The design of garden plant landscape planning and design system is completed. The experimental outcomes depict the accuracy of the landscape planning is always higher than 90%, and the planning time is always less than 2S.

The investor-state arbitration mechanism has entered the stage of multilateral reform. ICSID is the dominant international investment arbitration institution in the market. Based on the path-dependent theory of increasing returns, ICSID will still remain the dominant status in the investor-state arbitration system for a long period of time. The lock-up motivation is mainly influenced by vested interest groups, the legal complexity of the state’s withdrawal from the ICSID arbitration system, and the state’s Facing reforms or challenging real-world obstacles with huge costs, the three parties jointly decided. The state is the main agent of the international system. However, due to the legal rigidity of the country’s transfer of sovereignty, the high cost of the country’s revision of the international investment treaty or the revision of the ICSID Convention, which limits the country’s institutional choices. With the widespread use of the ICSID arbitration system by investors, international lawyers, and third-party institutions, the system has generated positive feedback and formed an interest group for the ICSID arbitration system, and actively maintained the market monopoly position of ICSID.

While the literature has investigated the reasons for Brexit from the perspective of the economy, society, or national pride, few studies have adopted the perspective of virtual water trade. This is particularly important regarding water resources’ inefficient application because of the time–space mismatch of water resources when water resources are depleted. Depending on the “logarithmic mean divisia index” and a “multiregional input-output model”, in 43 countries and regions (including the United Kingdom (UK) and the European Union (EU)) during the 2000–2014 period, we evaluate virtual water flows for revealing the changes’ driving forces for the EU in virtual water flows. We found the following: 1) The total amount of virtual water flow continued to increase, and the UK is importer of a net virtual water, in this study period, which depends on EU to a large extent. 2) During 2000–2012, there was virtual water flow’s large amount to the US from the EU; after 2012, China gradually seized the share of virtual water from EU exports. 3) Virtual water intensity effects and economic effects are the virtual water flows’ largest drivers. The difference is that economic effect positively drives virtual water flow while intensity effect of virtual water has a negative influence. Our results reveal the UK nature in the virtual water trade and can provide post-Brexit recommendations.

The development of green eco-agriculture in China is an inevitable choice under the background of the Rural Revitalization Strategy. By using the methods of literature review and business research, this paper takes the analysis of the Rural Revitalization Strategy and green eco-agriculture as the breakthrough point. On the premise of effectively analyzing the current development situation of green eco-agriculture in China, it points out the development opportunities of green eco-agriculture from three aspects of policy, personnel, and development prospect, and analyzes the challenges faced by the development mode of green eco-agriculture from the management system and technology, and then puts forward some measures for the development of green eco-agriculture, such as the establishment of the product brand and the construction of quality standards, the emphasis on the deep integration of Internet technology, the constructing technological and scientific development innovation system of green eco-agriculture, the support of policy system and the optimization of personnel training, for providing the point of view of Rural Revitalization in China for the growth of green eco-agriculture.

El objetivo de la investigación es conocer y evidenciar los problemas que prevalecen y afectan a los parques y áreas verdes dentro del contexto urbano. Asimismo, divulgar la necesidad de tener otros servicios básicos en los parques y áreas verdes de la ciudad. La investigación se realizó con un enfoque cuantitativo, es decir, se presentan datos estadísticos descriptivos. Se recurrió al muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia, para obtener una muestra de 122 personas a encuestar. Para el área de estudio se emplearon parques, áreas verdes y jardines que radican en la ciudad de Tepic, Nayarit, México. Para la recopilación de la información se utilizó un cuestionario estructurado por variables de tipo cerrada, una vez obtenida dicha información, se procesó en el programa estadístico SPSS Versión 19. De esta manera, los encuestados manifestaron que dentro de los parques, los problemas que más frecuentan es la basura (11.5%), el descuido (21.3%), falta de área verde (18%). De igual modo, las personas manifestaron que les gustaría tener otro tipo de servicios, como bebederos (18.9%), gimnasios para la activación física (16.4%) y tener más baños públicos (15.6%).

Potato tuber moth (PTM), Phthorimaea operculella (Zeller) (Lepidoptera: Gelechiidae), is one of the most damaging pests of potatoes both in the field and storage and occurs in almost all potato-producing areas in Turkey. The larva attacks all vegetative parts of the potato, and most economic damage occurs to potato tubers both before harvest in the field and during storage. In stored potatoes, management of this pest still relies heavily on the use of pesticides with their associated limitations. However, due to development of resistance to many synthetic insecticides in the populations of this pest, the desired results from chemical control have not been obtained in recent years. In the present study, the capture efficiencies of a new-designed light trap and delta pheromone trap were evaluated comparatively in mass trapping of adult PTM in stored potatoes during the storage period from October to December in both 2019 and 2020 in Antalya province (in the southwestern part of Turkey). Both trap types were tested at a density of 1 trap/15 m2 in both years. The captured moths were counted at weekly intervals during a two-month sampling period in both years, and compared between the two trap types on the basis of weekly mean number per trap. Results indicated that significantly higher numbers of moths per trap were captured in the light trap plots (rooms) than in the pheromone trap plots. The new-designed light trap captured both males and females, but had a higher efficacy in capturing females than males. In addition, in both 2019 and 2020 storage periods, much lower tuber damage rates occurred in the light trap treatment (6.8 and 8.0%, respectively) than in the pheromone trap treatment (19.1 and 21.5%, respectively). The overall results suggested that the new-designed light trap may help prevent tuber damage caused by PTM in stored potatoes by trapping both male and female moths effectively.

Moreover to its obligatory symbiont Buchnera aphidicola in their digestive systems; aphids can harbor also a lot of facultative bacteria symbionts that are mutual dependence in the context of various ecological interactions. Among common symbionts which play roles in various ecological interactions there are Serratia symbiotica, Rigiella insecticola, Rickettia spp and Hamiltonella defensa. Secondary endosymbionts bacteria help aphids to overcome the plant resistance and protect them against parasitic wasps and fungal pathogens. This work aimed to evaluate secondary symbionts diversity in the black citrus aphids (polyphagous) Toxoptera aurantii (Hemiptera: Aphididae).\nAphids collected in Rwanda on tea plants and reared on coffee plants in laboratory conditions were used. Aphid samples have been analyzed 2 times by using Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR). Results revealed that among targeted secondary endo-symbionts, Serratia symbiotica, Rigiella insecticola, Rickettia spp and Hamiltonella defensa only Serratia symbiotica was detected in the aphid T. aurantii Serratia symbiotica, Rigiella insecticola, Rickettia spp and Hamiltonella defensa were absent. \nThis study indicated the absence of various endosymbiosis bacteria in citrus aphids collected in tropical climates and this could serve as the base for further research on the effect of food and tropical climates on endo-symbionts bacteria diversities in Toxoptera aurantii.

New gynoecious bitter melon line, KAU-MCGy-101 identified from Kerala Agricultural University, India, was morphologically characterized. Silver thiosulphate (STS) was used for altering the sex expression of gynoecious line and ex situ conservation. STS induced hermaphrodite flowers in gynoecious plants and maximum number of hermaphrodite flowers was in plants receiving single spray at 200 ppm after emergence of first female flower. F1 was generated by crossing with monoecious variety Preethi and all the hybrids were monoecious in nature. Expression of gynoecious character in the sib mated gynoecious inbred and monoecy in F1 hybrids, indicate the recessive nature of gynoecy in bitter melon. Gynoecious inbred was also maintained through micropropagation. The shoot tip explants cultured on MS medium supplemented with 2.0 mgL-1 BA followed by 1.5 mgL-1 BA have given the highest shoot initiation response in 20.75 days. Multiple shoots, up to 5.50 per explant, were induced on MS medium with 2.0 mgL-1 BA and micro shoots elongated best with 0.5 mgL-1 IAA + 0.5 mgL-1 NAA. Best in vitro rooting was on half strength MS medium with 3.0 gL-1 activated charcoal and 1.0 mgL-1 IBA. The gynoecious expression was found to be stable in tissue culture regenerated progenies.

Malathion and Profenofos are the most widely used Organophosphate pesticides by farmers around the Rawa Pening lake, Indonesia. The Indonesian Regulation of Pesticides states that Malathion and Profenofos have been limited in their use for agriculture because of the possibility of causing bioaccumulation and biomagnification. This study aims to determine the compounds produced from the biodegradation of Malathion and Profenofos by the bacteria of the consortium Exiquobacterium profundum-Oceanobacillus iheyenis. The research method used was experimental. The biodegradable compound at the initial observation (0 hours) detected Malathion-Butanedioic acid, [(Dimethoxyphosphinothioyl) Thio]) at peak 4, real-time = 19,675, area% = 7.37, 96 hours, and Profenofos-C11H15BrClO3PS O- ( 4-Bromo-2-Chlorophenyl) O-Ethyl S-Propyl Thiophosphate was detected at peak 8, real-time = 23,957 area% = 6.91. The fourth observation (96 hours), Malathion [(Dimethoxyphosphinothioyl) Thio]) was still detected at peak 14, real-time = 19,675, area% = 2.25, and Profenofos (O- (4-Bromo-2)) - Chlorophenyl) O- Ethyl S-Propyl Thiophosphate) was detected at peak = 22, real-time = 23,951, area% = 2.2. In 192 hours of observation, Malathion and Profenofos were not detected. Conclusion: The Exiquobacterium profundum-Oceanobacillus iheyenis consortium was able to completely degrade Malathion and Profenofos in water and sediment substrates of Lake Rawa Pening within 192 hours.

Shade nets are widely used to protect crops from excessive radiation, wind, hail and birds. These nets also may modify environmental variables such as temperature, wind speed, or relative humidities inside canopy. The experiment evaluated the effect of photoselective nets in net houses, with an open-field control. The green net with shade factor of 40%, the blue, pearl, and yellow nets with shade factors of 75% were used as shading material. The total radiation and photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) transmittance of shade nets were determined. The environment conditions such as the air temperature, relative humidity and canopy temperature were measured by sensors. Tomato growing was realized for determining the effects of shade nets on crop growing in the net houses and open field conditions. Vegetative growing parameters (crop height, root collar thickness, leaf number), yield and some fruit quality parameters (average fruit weight, fruit diameter, water soluble dry matter, fruit colour) were measured in the study. Finally, it was found that shading resulted in an increase in the total yield. Pearl nets are the most suitable net for vegetable production (tomato) depending on PAR transmittance.

The Small Dams Organization has constructed 55 small dams in the rain-fed region of Pothwar Plateau, Punjab in Pakistan. A study was conducted on the Pothwar Plateau during 2019 to investigate the economic importance of small dams in the region, using Khasala and Jawa dams as the case study. The study tasks included: (i) a broad evaluation based on the performance of small dams in Pothwar Plateau, and to analyze the economic benefits of small dams to farming communities; (ii) a comparative analysis of the Khasala and Jawa dams on the Pothwar Plateau to identify the factors that influence agriculture production on irrigated (I) and non-irrigated (NI) farms in the area; and (iii) identification of key issues in order to identify potential options to improve agriculture production on the Pothwar Plateau.\nData was collected through field observations, questionnaires, key informant interviews, and formal and informal discussions with farmers and was collated and reviewed quantitatively and qualitatively. It was found that the minimum water pricing is the basic reason for wastage and excessive water consumption. The cost of collecting water-charges from farmers is greater than the water-charges which are received. This has resulted in delayed maintenance of the irrigation systems which exacerbates water losses. It was also found from the survey of farmers of irrigated land and non-irrigated land that irrigation increases wheat yield by 15%, maize yield by 42%, vegetable yield by 41-44% and fodder yield by 60%. The availability of wells on non-irrigated farms means that these farmers could access timely irrigation, otherwise, their productivity gap would be greater if they were forced to rely on rainfall only. Issues of concern which were identified included: (i) illegal diversion of irrigation water by influential farmers; (ii) inadequate maintenance of irrigations systems and (iii) inefficient on-farm irrigation practices which contributed to a total irrigation efficiency in the irrigated areas of less than 30%; (iv) water rights and a water rotation systems are not implemented in the study area and (v) there is no water user association to deal with the water channels in the region which leads to clashes between users over the water distribution. A number of strategies that should be implemented to enhance agriculture production and efficient use of water resources are also identified.

Major grain-producing areas have contributed a great deal to national food security, but suffer from huge benefit losses during the grain production. To compensate for benefit losses of major grain-producing areas, the state has introduced an incentive policy for big grain-producing counties at the macro level and keeps adjusting this policy. Streamlining of this policy, combined with further research, has led to the conclusion that: In the current benefit compensation policy for major grain-producing areas, the only compensation for the governments of major grain-producing areas is the reward policy for major grain-producing countries, which compensates the major grain-producing areas and to a certain level arouses the initiative of producing grain in those areas, but still exhibits certain deficiencies, including a limited scope of benefits compensation at the provincial level, a lack of flexibility with the capital use, and a small range of reward. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the benefits compensation policy for major grain-producing areas in the following aspects: first, to establish a special fund for benefit compensation for major grain-producing areas, including a reward fund for grain contribution, a compensation fund for commodity grain distribution and a compensation fund for farmland protection, to compensate for the benefit losses of major grain-producing areas; second, for improving the current reward policy for major grain-producing counties, as well as compensate major grain-producing areas for their benefit losses due to grain production through a sound compensation system, to arouse the initiative of producing grain in those areas and ensuring national food protection.

This study aimed to investigate the efficiency of biogas digestate under different incubation times and different NPK levels on the growth and mineral nutrition of wheat. For this, 0, 15, and 30 t ha-1 of digestates were left for incubation for 0, 30, and 60 days. Then the pots were fertilized with full and half NPK dosages. The results showed that the available nutrient concentrations increased with the digestate and incubation. Although EC increased with the treatments, it remained below the threshold level for healthy plant growth. Soil pH did not vary with the applications. Combination of full NPK, a digestate dosage of 30 t ha-1 and an incubation period of 60 days was the most effective treatment on dry weight. The effects of the treatments on wheat nutrient uptake were similar to the effects on the dry weight of the plant. Based on the examined parameters, it can be said that the most effective individual treatments on plant growth and nutrient uptake was full NPK, 15 t ha-1 BD, and a 60-day incubation period in general. The results also showed that NPK fertilization had a bigger effect on plant growth and nutrient uptake when they were applied with digestate.
